Clean Up Around the Bay
October 18 - 19, 2008
Due to the cancellation of the LyondellBasell Bike Around the Bay, GBF invited riders and volunteers to join us in Galveston the weekend of October 18-19 to participate in hurricane debris clean up. Approximately 300 volunteers and riders joined us at Galveston Island State Park and Virginia Point Peninsula Preserve for the Clean Up Around the Bay! Due to the success of this event, we hosted two more Clean Up Around the Bay events on November 8 and 22 at the Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge.
